Live Nativity in Sienna

This live nativity in Sienna is the perfect way to celebrate Christmas and the birth of Jesus! Initially, I had my concerns about photographing a camel in the dark, but the night was perfect! Kids in costumes acting out the Christmas story warm my heart and spark the holiday spirit! This is the second year I have attended this fun event at Sienna Ranch Baptist Church, and I enjoyed getting to capture all the characters and this special nativity scene!

This show is so much fun because the participants show up a little early to get into costume. I never really know what some of these kids and live animals are going to do during the live nativity. I love watching the tiny humans play Mary and Joseph, and my daughter played an angel, so it was a fun night all around. All the toddlers dressed as animals are so cute! The live animals included a camel, a sheep, and a donkey.

There are two separate performances, and the first is usually a little busier because the hayride starts after that. I recommend the hayride through Sienna to enjoy the Christmas lights. Satisfy your sweet tooth with a few delicious cookies and hot chocolate too. This is sure to be a big hit with the kids, so I highly recommend checking out the living nativity. It’s a fun and casual holiday tradition for your family.

They have lots of activities for kids, including an active Awana program on Wednesday nights and youth programs for the older kids too.

I photograph special events by the hour (2 hour minimum).
