Family Portraits at Oyster Creek

I love starting the new year with family portraits, especially in one of my favorite spots in Sugar Land. It is such a gift to be able to get to know families and watch kids grow up. This family has a special place in my heart and my neighborhood! You may spot a familiar face with some previous high school photos, but we met this time for long-overdue pictures together, and they nailed it! We visited one of my favorite local parks. This gorgeous backlit glow proves why I keep it high on my list. I grew up in Missouri City and moved away for 20+ years, and sometimes I am still amazed by how much the area has developed. I feel lucky to have so many amenities in Sugar Land. By some small miracle, we found a winter day that was warm, dry, and not too windy without kids’ activities. One of the things I love most about family sessions is watching how the siblings react to each other. They may have their moments at home when they fight, but they always seem to know how to make each other smile!

But this family isn’t just sharp and well-dressed. They are some of the most kind people you will ever meet and always a fun addition to any party. I feel so blessed to be able to take your family portraits and get to see another side of you all. Thank you to Misty and Joey for always being there to brighten the days of everyone around you!
