Reagan’s 12th Birthday Session

It’s hard to believe Reagan is already having her 12th birthday session already! Mom started making 10×20 collages of each child years ago when they lived in Louisiana. The groupings are proudly hanging above the kids’ beds and tell so many stories of their childhood. I love seeing the excitement as they show me pictures from past years and tell me about their favorite toys, pets, and hobbies!

You can feel all the love and support as soon as you walk into the family’s home. I was immediately struck by large portraits of each child hanging on the stairway. Their home proudly displays family portraits spanning more than a decade. Pictures or meant to be printed not just stored on your phone. I truly believe printed pictures make your kids feel more loved. Kids understand how important they are to the world when they see their own story. I love when I find clients who value printed pictures as much as I do!

It was a perfect night for pictures at Sugar Land Town Center. I love the variety of this urban spot and walking around to explore various corners. Unfortunately for all the businesses, all the power was out from a storm a few days ago. However, it was fun to feel like we had the place to ourselves!

I just photographed her family a month ago, but I swear she looks older already! How is it already her 12th birthday?

It is such a joy to get to watch this young lady mature! It’s fun to discover some of her favorite things each year. I think she looks she is ready to model for Stanley cups, haha.
