Pre teen portraits can be challenging, but Reagan nailed it! Pre teens don’t like to spend as much time playing and their interests are evolving. But, I enjoy finding the things they love that will make them crack a smile.
We asked Reagan what she would want to remember about being in 6th grade, and it was gymnastics, her slime collection, and her school binder. I love seeing how excited she is to learn! The first year at middle school is full of lots of new and exciting routines. That binder is a big part of her life right now. As a mom myself, slime is one of my least favorite toys. However, it brings so much joy to kids, and Reagan is no exception! She loved playing around with various types of slime and seeing how far she could stretch it out. Here are a few slime recipes to try at home if you are interested.
Reagan spends many hours of her time at the gym for her competitive gymnastics team. My 8 year old daughter attends classes at the same gym and often spots Reagan there. It is so cute seeing the admiration in her eyes for the older girls on the team and how hard they work! I was thrilled to be able to capture a few of her gymnastics poses and her favorite leotard.
Thank you Reagan for teaching me more about gymnastics. I can’t wait to see what else this intelligent and beautiful girl is up to for the rest of the year!
I would love to get to know your family! Pre teen portraits capture a special age as your kids are growing and maturing. Check out some more information about family sessions and contact me for more details or to set a date!
